ABOUT ME:

Welcome to blog@Mahatma Kikkuri, a blog dedicated to sharing my learnings on Product Management, new-age Products, Businesses and some old school articles.

My name is Mahatma Kikkuri; I am a Product Manager by profession. I hold a Management degree from SPJIMR, Mumbai and a Computer Engineering degree from JNTU, Hyderabad.

I am sort of an introvert by nature and an extrovert on demand. Hence, I define myself as an ambivert who can switch gears based on need.

I care most about Health, Family, Relations & Work and believe everything else can be sorted if the above is well balanced.

JOURNEY:

Back in college (2007), I used to pen my thoughts on random topics (Say the Software industry) with the bit of exposure I had and send them to my own Yahoo email id (I didn’t have Gmail then, I guess), only to derive pleasure by reading them out loud myself later and feel proud of what I have written 🙂 Did you ever try doing that? It feels great. Recommend trying it once. Great, back to the story; all went well until one day when I accidentally copied another email id instead of mine. And you know we never had the “recall” option (Our saviour and disaster mitigation specialist) then. Luckily, it happened to be one of my close friends, and he said he enjoyed reading the piece. And he also shared it with a couple of other friends who fortunately liked it as well. This gave me some boost-up, and when I wrote the next one, I started sharing the write-up with this closed group and recorded feedback.

Eventually, these garnered more interest when I started using these for the Impromptu, Just a minute (JAM) sessions which were part of formal business communication sessions in college. That was how my journey with content started. Post-college, the absolute need to spend more time on work and learn new skills has put this passion in the background. After a long break, I did write a couple of pieces during my MBA (2017-2018), post which I put passion entirely on the back burner.

Of late, I started to re-ignite the buried passion when one of my colleagues (who knew about this) advised if I could bundle these under a platform. And that’s when I put up this blog and started pooling all the sporadic write-ups under one umbrella. I also tend to see how long I could sustain the passion for writing while juggling multiple day-to-day priorities.

I hope you will enjoy reading these and do let me know your thoughts on the content published in the blog.
